99% of batteries in the USA are "pani wali battery"
The caps in USA batteries are not usual round ones but plates that cover 3 holes at a time or one large plate that covers all 6 holes.
You can buy AGM batteries which are also called gelled electrolyte or Valve regulated Lead Acid or Absorbed Glass mat batteries - usually used in auto start/stop or high end cars that have a massive battery load.
Factory batteries on all Toyota models are regular lead antimony aka "pani wali battery" supplied by either Johnson Controls or East Penn - and the cars charging system is controlled at 14.3V
for corrosion, its a leaking/cracked plastic case at terminal ends, which happens if the installer hammers the terminals or wrestles them. You can use a small felt (namda) washer loaded with petroleum jelly and baking soda under the terminal clamps to prevent this.
You should also make sure the battery terminals are not the wrong type, install genuine or better than genuine items, do not rely on the junk clamp lock terminals that are sold at "parts ki dukaan" - you can buy genuine ones from small nut bolt shops that buy auction lots from IMC, AHMCL and PS. Some local cottage industry places also sell them locally made, they are 100% copper with tinning (qalai) on them.
