Yep, Sir, when I bought, it was a reasonable thing.
We put in some new tyres (not world class, but brand new!), and they are still running strong. We repaired the original 2.4L diesel engine with some 60 horsepower, and we did some work on the steering and brakes. However, we managed to put the mog into water that was too much for it, and it sucked in water-costing us a lot. We managed to replace the front axle, and the rear looks OK. The gear is also partially damaged, but it is running. The main problem was the engine, and we decided that instead of rebuilding the original Mercedes Benz engine, we want a better power plant. Therefore, we went for a Toyota 14 B engine, which is 3660 cc, and a lot more horsepower.
We are satisfied with the output.
