Went to Sheran after Eid
Wonderful Place
The Trail was really adventurous. I was a bit worried in the beginning, because one of our vehicles, the Potohar was underpowered, and the other, the Austin Gypsy was a bit on the bigger side.
It is 16.5 km from Paras, which itself is just beyond Kiwai.
Once you reach Sheran, it is absolutely fantastic. It is set a bit low among the high peaks, and therefore, is not providing a world-class commanding view, but it is a very serene valley.
Some day, we may have something like a Fall GET TOGETHER at Sheran. The colours are absolutely stunning. Right from the Deodar Green to Bright Red, passing through yellow and orange shades..................
No doubt, a treat for the people with vision......

Thanks Naqvi Saheb, this is a beautiful place. Especially in the fall season.
The trees look like they are on fire: yellow and red.
and no time-wasters: only people who mean business.

It was really difficult to negotiate the bends, on reverse, on an uphill incline of around 30-35 degrees.
It was one hell of driving expertise of Irshad to take the vehicle up there on reverse, as Austin is a big vehicle.

Track is indeed dangerous in rain. We are planning a winter trip. Will include a bit of very difficult off-roading, and followed by uphill walk!!
You are welcome to join, if our trip materializes.........

Janjua Saheb, you and all our off-roaders are welcome to contact us while passing through Abbottabad, as we may be able to at least offer some resting place, and , to our advantage solely, some food, and a cup of tea.

Rao Sb, this vehicle is English, as I am sure you are better aware than myself. However, Japan has succeeded in making a sneak in. It now sports a B series engine from Toyota. Probably a B 11 engine? Earlier, as modified by Miskeen Baba, it had a B 14 engine, which is much noisier, but very powerful. However, it got old, and was replaced by another one (current engine), by Irshad Miskeen.
Runs well. Looks even better.......

^^ Great, I remember it from the snow cross. Yes, Bugzy, I remember the helicopter dash! Needs a big engine, I remember it was solid steel and very heavy. See you soon inshallah.

wow thats nice outdoor with challenging terrain and most of all the Gypsy and the Mog living upto the standards even set by themselves and others to follow :).

2 thumbs up for Arshaad aka vietnam for taking a fat lady up on this terrain with current set of shoes....

dont know why offroaders always need the TRACTION with the TYRE whereas all you need is a MAN behind the wheel ..... rest i call lame excuses, Bravo again Arshaad keep it and keep safe....
