We decided that on this Eid, we wanted to spend the third day, out of our homes. Well, that needed some extra work to settle the Qurbani on day and day 2 of Eid.
We started a bit late for some 'unknown' reasons. About 3/4 of our friends dropped, and we started off around 12 ish. We gathered at a local "tall", and purchased some wood and coal.
The kids liked the open back of the MOG. Some of the friends that you see in the picture only came to see us off and to say their farewell.
The weather looked excellent.

Dirt Roads and at places No Roads, led to a beautiful, serene valley, The Sirin Valley.
Flowing water is one important item of beauty, I believe.
The weather became wet and we had some light showers. It was definitely cold.

Sir,
I was looking for something with a bit more torque, and similar RPMs as the original Mercedes Benz 616 engine (2.4 L, 4 cyl). The next consideration was of spare availability and service expertise. Therefore, I settled for 14 B, Toyota. This is 3660 cc engine, with a good low-end torque, but with a horrible sound, as it is direct injection.

The valley, and the river, provided excellent views.
The weather grew cold: with mild rain at times, and with a pleasant chill.
At places the valley was narrow, and widened at other places.
The River Sirin wound throughout the length of the Valley.
Evening set in earlier than we had expected, with wonderful views of the setting sun, the darkening valley, and the moon........
Absolutely exhilierating !!!!

Once we were away from the beaten track, there were unlimited opportunities for testing the capabilities of the MOG & the Gypsy.
The Austin Gypsy is a world class off-roader, but it is difficult to beat the MOG when it comes to ground clearance.
The MOG, however, is very tilt-happy, and it frightens the passengers.

The Austin is a Wonderful Off-Roader, but even this could not handle the terrain at one point. Its Leaf Spring got stuck on the ground. and the wheel started spinning.
We had to winch it for a short distance: a foot or something.

On the way back, we had to tackle the track, and it was much more difficult to come back onto the track, because the terrain was not visible, and also the surface was slick.
All in all, a good day out, before we call it a day!

Plz sir u r respected elder of mine soo i appreciate that u dont use sir word for me....

B14 is good engine infact horrible noise but its very powerful thing to have it under hood

mercedes engines r too complicate n expensive.......as u always qoute keep it simple n less expensive
