Dear Friends,
The above four pics are from the first and second tours, in the first tour, The pic with KARORI, and we had loads of friends and visitors, some from abroad. The earlier few disfigured pics are from that trip. On these latest addition pictures, we went to Swat in the winters and got lost in the snow. We stayed night under the small shed visible in the back ground, behind the Nissan Patrol. This was back in 2001 Dec. probably.
On this trip also we had quite a few foreigners with us.

Last Weekend, we went up to Hazeera. The first descent is really steep (not fully depicted !). The track through the valley is alternating broad and narrow, with people, goats and timber sharing public transport. The views are beautiful. The last picture shows the Unimog back at Civilization, and I believe, it still does not look much out of place!

Dear Friends,
Here are a few pics from our recent Hazeera trip. Its a beautiful, roads-less-travelled type valley.
We bought some fruit for lunch, and started our initial descent from Abbottabad, which is very steep.
some local jeeps make the ascent, very easily, with a lot of pay load! the turns are sharp and need reversing. Needless to say accidents are common.

We came across a nice, little water-fall, crossed the same stream a few times, and came across a beautiful water-mill grinding 'juwar' before reaching the Hujra of our new inductee, not yet a member of Off-Roaders unlimited.

On our way back, we found a beautiful school, very exclusive, standing all alone in the wilderness, like a beacon of light. And we came out through a new approach, with breath-taking views, spoiled only by the land rover in the pictures. But, including the landy is, .... you know,.........
all about the off-roading.
Just like a window sticker, saying "God So Loved The Earth, He Gave Us Land Rover To Explore It !"
