glad to know and thanks for letting me know ke tuning eletrical work hai i always though ye machnic ka he kaam hai. I got plugs, filters and oil changed to Total Quartz 9000 Future 5W30 also can you tell me after how much time interval should i change the oil as these days my car is mostly sitting around and i don't use it much within city ! should i change it after 3months, 4months or 6 months if the mileage is still less then 8k ?

If the car is carburetor engine. then mechanic he kare tune. Even CNG driven car ki thek tuning b CNG wale mechanic he thek samjte hain. Ajkal ki gariyo me sensor hain, cat con hain, oxygen sensor hain, injectors hain. And the city we are living in tbh, i dont thing so.. koi mechanic in chezo ko samjta ho, or pata b ho k yeh keya chezein hoti hain. So bethar yehe hai, kisi thek se electrician sey banda karwa le.

Well I have heard oil 6 months or 5K kms k bad change karwana chae hai. Last time I got changed my engine oil after 2 years only done with 4500 Kms Engine oil was fine jab nikala tha, but us time pata chala k itna zada time k lia oil ko nahi rehney dena chae hai gari me.

Btw can anyone tell me please whats the recommended engine oil grade for wagonR PKDM from suzuki. I know someone he is pouring 15w40 in his 25k KMs driven wagonR because its written in the owner's manual. Is that true ?

PKDM Wagon R, being having K10B engine, must only use 5w-30 engine oil grade (at max.), And in that, Total Quartz 9000 Future Series 5w-30 is best value for money.

Then why her owners manual says to put 15w40 grade oil ?

I think, the manual is either not up to date, or the people who vetted / verified the manual for Pak Suzuki, believe in "Mota Tail" myth and accordingly, recommended 15w-40 engine oil for this 1000 cc engine. It will always require 0w-20, 5w-20, or at max. 5w-30 engine oils, provided they are used in normal driving conditions, and irrespective in Pakistan or Alaska, or USA, Gulf, etc.

And regarding Total... No offense taken brother. The reason I recommend Total Quartz 9000 Future Series, Fully Synthetic in 5w-30:

1. Shell offers 5w-30, but in semi synthetic locally.
2. ZIC, Caltex, Havoline, Chevron doesn't offer this grade here locally.
3. Kixx does offer 5w-30 fully synthetic, but Total is still better.
4. Mobil1, Kendall, and especially Valvoline, Amsoil does offer it, but are quite expensive.

That was really surprising for me that this guy is running his car on 15w40 since first oil chane and its driven 25k kms on 15w40.

Kixx does offer 5w-30 fully synthetic, but Total is still better.

Brother by Total, I meant Total Quartz 9000 Future Series 5w-30, which is also fully synthetic oil.

You can say, I would prefer Total over Kixx, because of brand name and trust, and better R&D. Else if, Kixx is not bad.

If not 5w-30, then 10w-30 maaaaaay be acceptable, but 15w-40, its too much thick for this engine. Its mire thick than 5w-40 and 10w-40.

Regarding ZIC X7 series, brother mind sharing the exact engine oil grade / viscosity, so as to be more specific? (As many different engine oil grades are there under ZIC X7 series)

Brother, I do not have first hand experience with it but one of my friends is using ZIC 10w-40 in his ride and he is fully satisfied. Accordingly, I would recommend it, but its 100% originality and genuineness is a must!

I have used ENEOS Sustina 5w-30, Total Quartz 9000 Future Series 5w-30, and now pouring ZIC A+ 5w-20 in my current ride, Vitz.

I have been fully satisfied with these 3, accordingly will recommend them, but again, the oil must always be % genuine and original.

If this is recommended by the company. Then whats the logic behind jo hum ney rola dala hota hai k new engine me 0 ya 5 grade viscosity wala oil use karna chae hai and with the logic of company recommendation?

0w20 or 5w30 is mostly recommended by toyota in car manuals. I think suzuki engine clearances are designed for mota oil

5w-30 is suitable for all most all cars after 2000 in Pakistan.
Be it a 660cc cart upto 5700cc Lexus.
