Genuine filters can go till 10k kms but still liquimoli is overpriced stuff, useless for these cars..u r right better use reasonably priced oil change it in less time

I have used liqui moly easily for 10k kms. ONLY with Genuine oil filter or VIC Japan oil filter.

10 k kms is nothing..if compared internationally as even basic OCI is 5000 miles not kms.. although liquimoli here is just overrated due to being german. I have seen people using liquimoli in all sort of cars as an oil can make ur car fly.. get a reasonably specd oil from any reputed brand and change according to its price...safe and healthy for engine with being light on pocket. These grey imports are too heavy on pocket tbh.

LM special tec is for 30k to 50k OCIs.

G g i have heard..oil is the cheapest insurance of car so extra long intervals... are not for me. 10k kms makes sense...and bus

Long OCIs are directly proportional to the sump oil capacity. Here we have small cars with not that much engine oil capacity n that is coupled with extreme dusty environment so yes keep it 8k or 10k km max on oem filter.

Yeah right...now using lm or mobil1 for 10kms cost same as changing quartz 9000 after 5000 kms... although quartz has good test results on much longer ocis...ehy bot change twice...at same cost..

Quartz can easily last 7 to 8k km. Changing it before that is overkill. Total and Shell are better companies worldwide than LM

Its my personal observation that Total and Shell are better than ZIC. But still, at the end of the day, you get what you pay for!

Basit Bhai and @def3nder today i had radiator leak which was found and fixed very easily but i noticed oil on the engine belt and it shouldn't be that oily and after inspection i noticed this leak. The engine oil level is maximum even after returning from long drive.

I tried but its hard place to reach and the phone also can't reach any further then this. Is this petrol or engine oil and which what part is this of engine ! Location is below and around the ladt pully of the engine left bottom and behind.

Brother I am not an expert on automobiles / its mechanicals, however, I would suggest to visit some good garage, observe from above, and also below after raising your car on jack, and have this leakage sorted out after thorough inspection.

This leakage can be from anywhere. Unless / until the exact reason for leakage and its exact location is pin pointed, nothing can be said & done with surety IMO.

ITs that your civic or corolla ? You need to trace this all oily area bro. asey kesey bata sakhte hian. but dont clean this area. try to trace jin jin area pe shak ho raha hai. clean that area after identifying the doubt place. and keep an eye on that place and see if there is any leak. Sending you your image back check for these two points. highly doubt with the doubt area number one. what is that nut for or whats behind that area?

I second u as its general observation that oil oxidizes after sometime

Its corolla got it up and there is no leak under just this and the bolt 1 was a bit loose got it tighten and will be checking on it again after few days other then that i also found another leak that was even bigger then this one which was speed sensor got it out cleaned it and applied new seal to it and put it back in and guess what Asad autos charged me Rs 100 for both these tasks and got it done within 30 minutes.

What was that bolt number one for? So you happy with Asad autos They have got a pretty decent workplace. When i go for car tunning etc the guy charge me Rs300, but last time he charge me Rs200 only.

I don't remember it but the number TWO in the picture was throttle cable i was more concerned about the speed sensor so didn't bothered much about it and yes i am definitely going back for anything or everything to them. very nice and professional people. The car tune up guys charge Rs 650 for tuning and filters e.t.c on top anyways Asad autoss are seriously earning halal i have never seen this garage empty mashAllah atleast 8-16 cars are always at the workshop and the wait is always worth it.
