Oil and oil filter Mitsubishi mirage 2012

What oil is recommended for 2012 mirage and what oil filter can fit as original Mitsubishi parts r not available.. Is there any Mitsubishi expert who can do maintenance on these car since there is no dealership

Ok just to update oil filter for all Mitsubishi is standard so no issues there.. Recommended oil is fully synthetic 0w20 but even 5w30 from total also works fine..
air filter is not available so my mechanic did some juggar with honda air filter to fix the problem.. Now only issue is CVT transmission Fluid J4 is not available .. So looking for alternates.. Have heard that toyota CVT Fluid works fine.. So will look into that...

Mitsubishi 3S dealership is under dewan motors . I found this website : DMMC | Dealers

according to it :

Similarly there are in Karachi, Rawalpindi , Islamabad

Plz note I am not a mitsubishi user i was researching it as Mitsubishi Mirage is looking good to me. Do tell what info you get from the 3S dealers .

Toyota cvt fluid will work fine with jatco cvt transmission...

Other option is amsoil cvt fluid... But check with amsoil dealer/distributor for availability...

you need something like nissan ns2 - the toyota one may or maynot work. It wont be like - you put it in and boom goes the gearbox, but its friction characteristics maybe different.

Thanks for reply. Amsoil distributor in lahore is outta stock but ordered amsoil cvt fluid & would be available in 50 days approx. Amsoil cvt fluid as per their website compatible with jatco (cvtf j4) cvt & ns3 & suzuki green 2.
