Oil chamber leakage issue

I bumped my Mehran into a road bump damaging it's oil chamber and I replaced it with new chamber and new oil but it is leaking oil on running engine. Mechanic applied silicon from the outside but it still is leaking small amount of oil from one seal nut area. And now he's saying to drive it for few days and then they'll tighten the nut bolt again to stop it. Wanted to ask if it's Normal to have some leakage after new chamber installation for sometime before it stops or eventually I will have to reopen it all over again and reseal it with new oil change (which I have put just today). Appreciate any help. Thanks

You have to cutv and metal weld near drain nut area otherwise nothing will be permanent solution.

For the time being, add extra rubber washer with drain nut until you repair it.

It is not normal to leak even a single drop

Firstly is it even a new oil pan if it's leaking?

Your mechanic needs to redo the job, applying silicone externally does nothing.

If he used a cork gasket and used silicone anywhere on it, it will leak, cork gaskets are installed with help of some petroleurm jelly only and tightened very slightly.

If a paper gasket was used with silicone it will leak.

Rubber gasket with silicone on straight surfaces will leak too.
