I recently changed engine oil of my civic 8th gen (reborn).
I drove it around for 3 Km after the oil change.
After the engine cooled down for 3-4 hours. I checked the oil level on dipstick. It was not showing full level (somewhere in between top and middle of dipstick). I know that level being shown is fine but I expected it to be full.
I drove the car again for around 15 Kms and then parked the car at night. Upon checking the oil level in the morning, it's still not showing oil at full level.
I used 5W30 honda genuine oil (3.7 litre).
Does someone know what could be the reason?
It's fine at this point but I expect the car to burn some amount of oil after 2-3 K Km (all engines burn oil) and I am worried that I might have to top it off if gets too low.
