this is caused by the extreme heat of the exhaust near it, make a little heatshield to prevent cooking this little boot.

Gear oil will Drain. You have to keep an eye on oil. Which is very difficult as there's no dip stick.

So that's probably 3000+gear oil+ charges for heat shield which I absolutely have no idea what it is and who makes them. Damn it, car was working flawlessly for the past 5/6 months with great averages and now THIS. That's probably why some people sell their cars every 2 years and buy new. But that's a lot of money loss itself.

Bhai as i told in my top most post that i had the same work done too in my same car. The mechanics were asking 3k labour only plus separate for gear wala and oil and that was to much but gear is to be taken out anyhow. So i went to a dirt cheap place in karachi - Liaquatabad market and had all work done for 2400which included 1k labour to take off/reassemble gear, 1100 for all seals plus labour of gear wala,plus gear oil.

You can use heat wrap (little expensive). Or readjuste the exhaust pipe may be it's bend inwards. Jab ap kaam krvao ga mechanic ko kehna exhaust ka.

get a small sheet of aluminium - bend it to shape.

or find a beat up exhaust manifold or cat convreter heat shield, cut it up and make it to the shape you want - bolt it to a bolt on the gearbox. Takes less than 15 minutes.

Today i visited about 4 mechanics including suzuki 3s workshop, all of them gave an estimation in between 2K to 4K
Suzuki 3s guys were saying 1300 labor charges, 700 Rs for seal 60 for boot and other "extra charges including gear oil" will be almost around 3K. (All of their mechanics were very young in b/w 20 to 30) not much experienced.
Here is the thing, the main mechanic that i usually go to advised against it (he's been around cars since the 80's and my father used to go him) , he said the dripping is very low and we should not touch the original transmission coz that might cause other problems and just let him check the gear oil at every oil change or every 3 months. he gave me an estimate of 2k including his labor for 5/6 hours and "kharadia's labor charges, seal+boot charges but doesn't include gear oil so have to buy own gear oil in case.

Now what should i do, let it be or get it fixed. btw nice estimation on 3K, dead on target. Thanks for the help PakWheelers.

Bhai, meybe he has a lot of work currently in his hands so he is not wanting to take off your transmission. A leak is a leak. Jab kaam karana he hai tou kyu na abhi kara len? Every drop leaking means car is losing transmission fluid and its level is decreasing. Rest you understand better what i mean
