my 1986 Pajero 4d56 engine burst oil filter. Engine was overhaled few months ago and this happened twice after that, can anyone guess the reason behind it. Please Note its turbo without intercooler but was removed to keep maintenance to low end.
It's most probably a stuck oil pressure relief valve on the oil pump.
Or may be you are putting it without filling it with oil / soaking in oil.....
I remember sir xulfiqar told about it some other thread....
Bad oil pump.
