Oil level reduction in honda city

u i purchased Honda city 2011 91k driven, using zic 10w40, this is cars oil level after 2500km.is this reduction normal? Can I use 5w30?previous owner was using 10w40. Thanks in advance.

Thats normal. Try fully synthetic 5w30. Such as Total Quartz 9000. Liqui moly 5w30. Honda green bottle 5w30. With genuine oil and air filter.

Its its below the lower point on the dipstick. Don't worry about it. Good quality synthetic will work better.

I have city 2007. 1.5. 120k driven using total quartz 9000 from last 15k km. No issues. If ur worried go for some fully synthetic 5w40 or 10w40 oil.

I would keep a close eye on oil level. Anything else i should be careful about? Will give a thorough feedback here. Currently I'm using zic 10w40, and it's giving me excellent milage.

I had engine flush done and then poured 5w30 liqui moly, car performance, acceleration and milage has dramatically improved. Alhamdulilah. I believe this will settle my long quest for a better oil that suits my engine.
I'll update my reviews after 5k km.

My Corolla 2004 gli the previous owner change the engine of car and since 2021 I am driving it In start I used shell10w-40 then shift on havoline 10w-30 since then I drive in city after 2000km it reduce oil I live in Quetta recently I visited Lahore byroad my the car was driven about 2000 km on last oil change and gauge was reduce I pour .5liter then gauge was full and last for Lahore driven about 980km saw the gauge it was half then I change the oil again to shell 10w-40 and was there for about 10 days drive about 890 km daily from Lahore bahria town to city And on return I again check the gauge it was low again I pour half of the reming half liter but the gauge was not full when I reached her it was again low now kindly tell me why it is consuming so much oil before my visit it was consuming but not that much there is no visible leak should I change my oil grade and manufacture should I pour Toyota patron oil 10-40 I pour oil from a shell pump near mall spl Shimla hill filling station. Kindly ned expert opinion

same thing happened with me
i just change the place from where i was buying the oil not the grade
moreover i switch to GURAD oil,air filter and oil filter and amazingly it is working fine

it is advised over this forum that upto 500 ml reduction in engine oil is not alarming, without compression test. One possible reason is blocked / bad pcv valve. change to genuine part sir @pwuser154237431018

The engine as change so can't say accurate reading but it 250k km
