Old cultus 2005 engine and gear box upgrade query

Old cultus 2005 is not fuel efficient. Is there anyone who has replaced the engine with wagon R/New cultus with manual tranmission or anyother fuel efficient engine with auto transmission? What is possibility of this alteration along with pros and cons?

Sir being an old member, you should know that there's only one workshop recommended a lot for people in Karachi and that's Arshad at jameel autos.
