The old H22 was lying around with me for more than an year when i swapped it was also giving smoke(blue) so i replaced the Assebley(head and block).

replace hose pipe also .....excellent engine

Headers look nice. The rest of the engine looks horrible with the red, bluw and yellow. Get all the paint off and you will have a nice clean engine bay
