One Day Trip Advice during Eid Holidays

Hi Everyone,

As you know during Eid holidays most of the tourist spots like nathigali, shogran, naran are over crowded and not feasible to visit with a family.

I am planning for one day family trip from islamabad to visit any place less crowded in these days. Cars would be city and civic.

One option in my mind was Toli Peer but i have no idea about the road conditions. Are they suitable for us to go without trouble? Any good hotel there?

Or suggest anyother place to visit from islamabad, but it should have some good altitude as there is fun to drive to a place with same weather.

There would be a lot of local tourist on eid at banjosa lake and tolipeer also a lot of 125 boys. by 125 boys I mean to say not riders infact lafenters. so it is not recommended with family

Yeah you are correct.
May be then will go one or two day before eid...

I think its hard to find a place on eid which is not crowded.....

But what about the road conditions from isb to tolipeer?

In punjab side from kahuta to poonch road is very bad it would be a test for your car. After river poonch as you see welcome to AJK board the road becomes very good upto rawlakot but there are few bad patches due to snow melting and land sliding. From tolipeer to rawlakot road is just ok with some bad patches.

i suggest you to visit thandiani...less polluted, less crowded and excellent atmosphere..

I have recently visited banjosa toli peer from Islamabad. As rightly pointed out road from kak pul to azad Pattan is bumpy but it's ok. But after Azad Pattan (crossing river) it's in very bad shape. Lots of bad patches and land slide areas. Time is almost 3 hrs even more. Only 15 km before Rawalakot road is New and carpeted. After Rawalakot bypass, road is ok till banjosa and toli peer.
While coming back from Rawalakot few locals suggested to take Dirkot- kohala road. So I followed same. Road is good with lot of scenic beauty but you have to cross Murree which took half an hour extra. During Eid days it will be extremely crowded. But after Eid and non,weekend days it's ok.
