One day trip to Soan Valley the happenings that occur never before. We, the four friends planned to visit the valley on Saturday 14th March 2015 as Pakistan vs Ireland match was going to be played on very next day. So we hired the car (Toyotta GLI 2012) and left the station at 8:30am. As we resides in Chashma so the travel to Soan Valley was not being seen too long. Google was showing only 103KM but no one knew what the situation was.
Our Ride
The first stopover was Wah Buchran. We bought some junk food and fruits for our journey. After an half hour we reached Quaidabad. This is our mistake or driver''s negligence that we turned our car toward the Quaidabad Sakesar Road. Driver want to adopt the route of Amb Sharif--Mahorian--Uchali route which is possible shortest route to Uchali lake. Due to some construction work on decided route was being carried out so driver changed the route to Quaidabad--Sakesar--Uchali. The new route was very steep and inclined also the road was not up to the mark. Our car several times not responded well on some jumps and uneven road. As we reached on the peak after an hour, PAF Sakesar security did not allowed us to go further on this route. After long discussion we decided to go back but this time driver opted the route of Sakesar--Daudkhel road. Driver was interested to take us to Namal Lake but we were confused about his decision. As soon as we reached at base camp, we have decided to go Uchali at any cost 
. Driver told us the only route was Talagang and Khushab road from the this side of valley. I said him to take us from Khushab--Naushera route but he argued the distance would be the same. Marte kya na karte ap Rs 1000 or le lo or hame wahin le jao jahan ka decide hua tha .
So he agreed on this amount and nilkal pare apni khawari ki taraf. We traveled about 4 hours more to reach Naushera( Soan Valley). In Chingi we had lunch in local hotel. The route adopted Sakesar--Lawa--Along Talagang road--Tarhada--Dharnal---along Thowa Dharnal Road--Right turn and along Sargodha Talagang Road--Chingi--Khabeiki Lake---Naushera---Uchali
The distance of about 240km was covered. I think that Khabeki lake is getting shrink because large plain green area left by the lake. Some of guys got irritate and show anger to driver about his lack of knowledge. We passed Khabeki lake due to shortage of time and took some shots from road.
But as we reached Uchali , all anger got vanished and started to enjoy from the weather and atmosphere. Lake seemed liked a pearl in heart of Valley. Sabar ka phal jo mil gya tha. After an hour we left for the Dep Sharif Pond. Dep Sharif pond is not so active as I considered it a seasonal stream. We made ablution and offered Asr paryer in nearby Mosque. Now time was 6pm. and we started back journey. Driver again directed toward new route toward of Khushab from Naushera. Meanwhile rain also started but due to better road condition we feel safe. This route is actual route which visitor usually takes to enter the valley. I saw public transport going from Uchali to Khushab and Sargodha which shattered my view about valley as I considered area backward before visit. A visitor can easily catch public transport from Khushab and can stay in Naushera. Hotels & Punjab govt rest house was also present in Naushera and in different areas of valley.
After three hours we reached Chashma. I think this visit was interesting because I have seen all main routes to enter the valley and discovered the new lake "The Uchali Lake", the Beautiful indeed!!
