Item was received at post office on 17 Feb. Still not received at home. What shud be done?

what was the product. some products are held by customs. my tracking status was beijing shipment and it reached my home . this doesnt matter it will reach soon

Item was a charging port for Samsung Galaxy tab 3, it suffers frequently from damaged charging port. (Where the USB cable is inserted). The total cost was 4.04 dollars for 02 ports and 2 dollars for Singapore post shipping.

so got my another order today, i paid for china registered mail but was sent by small packet mail, tracking is still showing inset item into bag on 6th march n today i found it at my door step, well post man didnt wait as it was raining outside
i have yet to check if it works or not, costs around 3 n shipping was 1.6 but its printed 5 on the front i guess pre printed papers.

so i should confirm goods received n then dispute for wrong shipping? i could have easily lost the item as it doesnt has any tracking here n post man just threw it instead of seeing that some one receives it where as i specifically paid for china post

yes confirms good received and open dispute for shipping method not used as described and go for partial refund and dispute for 1.60$ and if possible attach the pic of the parcel as evidence

small packet has no tracking. if tracking is showing up then it means that it is registered. due to laziness ko pak post they dont scan the package so the status doesnt change, where as it showed up as ordinary small packet because it had packing of small package. it was registered mail as there was one status insert item in bag

siddiec is right , I had ignored the "inset item into bag" part.if you can track it at Pakpost website, then its registered mail, check by inserting tracking number here Pakistan Post Office .
If Pakpost showing status insert item into bag then its registered mail, don't open dispute

If Pakpost showing status insert item into bag then its registered mail, don't open dispute

but on 17track all tracking is in chinese n y postman didnt bother to hand it n just threw it like a normal simple post? n seller also said that its less than 10$ so its without tracking

Its registered Post brother, non registered post never show any status at Pakpost Website, Pakpost guys are lazy, mostly they never update the status after "insert item into bag in origin country"
and that,s postman fault, he should have taken receiving signature as required by registered Post.

on 17 track check at the bottom of tracking info there is translate button. its regustered dont file unnecessary dispute on aliexpress it will create a bad reputation and sellers wil hesitate to deal with you

it depends if they scan your postt at every step then it changes. post man is always on a hurry. if know one responds they throw the package at your door.

but when they have to collect custom then they wont

once there was no custom n light was out, still he called on my number to take delivery, even tcs people dont do that

that depends on the post man. if there is custom and payment is not received it goes back to post office

If there is no capital "R" written in parcel, then its definitely non registered post and check if the provided tracking number by seller is mentioned in the package, if its not mentioned in the parcel then you should open dispute, he definitely try to scam you by providing tracking number of any other shipment

it has R
on top it says no tracking, at bottom it shows the tracking no he gave me
