DHL takes only 3-4 days while EMS takes 10+ days.

I want to order Le Max 2 through Ali Express. It is one hell of a mobile with reasonable price. What is the recommended mode of shipment? Singapore post or DHL? I can wait for the shipment (by using Singapore post, and willing to pay the post office guys) but want to ensure that I receive the mobile and my money is not wasted (because I heard through DHL, if the shipment gets stuck, there is no way to get it released). Another issue is that it is not in the list of PTA type approval document, how to get this mobile on that list then?

Yes i bought u80 smart watch from ae. Reached in 15 days. But customs held that. I ordered 2 smart watch. But had to pay rs 700 for releasing them. Battery time is 6-7 days. But if its bluetooth is on it would last 2 days only.

Can you tell me that you paid customs on the price mentioned on invoice or they imposed customs on the price they thought would be???

i have used it for a day or two but since then its lying with me, using other watch so this one isnt in use, battery without bluetooth was fine. drains more quickly if u keep bluetooth on all the time
i paid 600rs custom when its price was mentioned as $10
n it was U80 watch

I wil pay customs on thr product but on the price mentioned. How much is the risk that they impose duty on the price of their own.
And if they impose duty on the price they thought then is there any way to argue them to only impose price mentioned?

its better to pay custom sitting at ur home rather than traveling a long distance to their office n then do additional khawari of bribing or fighting with those guys, seriously not worth it, you'll waste more time n money this way so i also ended up paying 600 but at my home, price was mentioned as $10 so u can say they impose duty of 50-60%

They imbosed custom duty on the price mentioned on the invoice. They were asking 1200 but after alot barganing ended up at 700.

In some cases they impose unfair custom duty. So u cant argue with the postman that delivers to your home. He would only tell you that you can go to customs office and negotiate there. In this case postman sends back the item to the post office. And risk of item getting lost.

I have never paid any customs on any of the things I bought but they were cheaper, smaller n lighter items.
I have asked the seller to mention the price on invoice upto 40$ with free shopping.

2. They estimate the price of their own and put 35% duty.
3. They impose 100% duty on invoice price.

Show them a fake invoice of the product mentioning lower price, if they ask for it. Once i ordered an action camera and custom held it. They asked as to show the online invoice for confirming the price as mentioned on the packet. They will try to impose ajeeb ajeeb taxes k normal person ko smjh hi na aai.

I must then ask seller to provide me the copy of invoice that he is posting the item. That would be much realistic.
