Parcels with tracking number starting with R are registered, so you will get Karachi International Mail office tracking update once item reaches Pakistan.

After Karachi tracking update, you will get your items within 2-5 days.

These days you also get notifications from AliExpress when registered parcels reach your country.

my order from AE is showing "parcel with local shipment company" since 22-04-2018. more than 2 weeks have passed and i havnt yet received the item (item is baby girl rompers set). should i wait more or contact local GPO? incase i am imposed with custom duty, would i get a notice first or i need to contact them myself?

Yes, visit nearest post office with tracking number. They have properly kept records (very surprising) of all parcels.

If it were registered, it should have shown that item sent to DMO Rawalpindi. Maybe it's still stuck or misplaced. It cannot be with customs, lol.

You receive letter in case of custom, or you have to pay some custom duty to postman in other case.

A new game is being played by seller these days. They will write wrong address on parcel but city will be correct one. For e.g. if your address is House No. 1, Peoples Street, Nazimabad, Karachi then they will send it to House No.1, Ali Street, DHA, Karachi.

So when you will call post office to inquire why this parcel is pending with DMO KHI IMO for so many days and not delivered to you yet, they will inform you that the address written on parcel is of some other area and it has been sent to them.

Post office told me that this is happening with many parcels coming from Ali Express.

It must be Post office fraud, but i received 99% orders safely.

It's all computerised system at AliExpress and their sellers. Shipping address is electronically picked from your profile and printed on parcel.
