more parcels are in way and i have never paid any custom duty in my last 2 years shopping from AE because i order only small things. Now after new government post offices are applying custom on every thing whether it small or not..

Brother custom staff have no accurate knowledge about duties. They are illustrate people. They have their own mind. Now duty is totally depend on your luck. But they are checking every packet from AE which wasn't their routine.......

yesterday received another parcel from Ali express....that too within 15 days....item original cost was $25...no custom/duties charged...

classic case of under invoicing....shipping invoice only mentioned $5

see how much revenue loss due to under invoicing and shipping Jugaads....and its a trade norm...all big companies do it all over the world to reduce cost..haven't been able to curtail this menace till date....

I would have no problem paying tax if the tax was justified.
For example if they charge something like withholding tax then its fine, repackaging fee ok thats fine too but aisay aisay naam k tax lgatay hain that dont even exist. Jab is tarah ka ghalat kaam ho tou hell no i wont even pay 1 penny as tax on that and force the seller on Aliexpress to mention 2$ on my parcel.

Goodluck with that, big boxes usually get detained even if less price and Gift is mentioned on them. Give it a try and let us know as well
