Just ordered some DDR3 RAM to put in my Dell Optiplex 990:

Let's hope I receive it in time because my 4GB RAM is struggling to run Skyrim Special Edition. RAM is full to the brim so HDD has to spool up every once in a while which introduce severe stutters.

Yes. Heard these RAMs have Micron DRAM chips, which you normally find on premium RAMs such as Vengeance and Ripjaw etc!

It's kinda funny because used 4 gig 1066MHz sticks from unknown brands are going for 2.5k at Hafeez Center whereas I ordered this 1600MHz brand new stick for just 2.3k shipped!

P.S Can you tell me about your PC? I heard Kllisre RAMs don't like Ryzens in general and B450 chipsets in particular. Checked the comments section as well and almost all 1 star reviews are from people running Ryzen machines.

Guys items below 5000 rupee are tax free?

May be in books, but Pak Custom has charged duty on even a 8 dollars item in my case it was just a mini wireless keyboard and mouse and a 2000 rupees dash cam.

I believe that's no longer the case because FBR has removed custom tax and duty on parcels with a declared value of 5k or less just two days ago.

Anyhow, I've just ordered a RAM for around $15 so lets see if I receive a customs detention letter or not!

Don't know. I bought a Kllisre SO DIMM DDR3L RAM for my laptop to extend its existing 4 GB RAM. Both are from two different manufacturers but since specs match so no issue there. Make sure all RAM modules have same frequency and voltage and they would run fine. Problem occurs when there is mismatch of frequency and voltage.

I currently have 1,333MHz RAM @ 1.5V whereas the one I've ordered peaks at 1,600MHz @ 1.5V. As per forums, the memory should automatically downclock to keep-up with the 1,333MHz module.

Use Registered postal service only. Better go with Singapore Post.

Custom comes heavy on spares. Sensors can escape their eyes due to small packing.

There is no problem buying parts from AE, but only unpleasant part of Pakistani Custom department. You can try your luck. If the part is cheaper than local market after paying custom duty, then I think it is ok.

PS: If the difference is just a couple of hundreds and the item is available in local market, buy locally.
