Openion needed: FX 87 or Charade 82 (Rs.85,000)

Please help me deciding among the following:

Final price demand by party is: Rs.85,000/-

FX 87 Petrol; Exterior Repaint, engine room original, Newly purchased "used" radial tyres, no works in engine.

Charade 82 (old charade shape) Petrol (party claimed 800cc engine but i have a doubt on it); Full repaint; new tyres (apparently chinese brand) Pickup sounds good; engine sounds OK, all gadgets are working.

My desired usage is very low (around 100 km a week) however, my 1st priority is ECONOMY

Please advise. I need to decide by today evening as i'm afraid of loosing the deal.

go for the Charade , will give you more ROI,and more goodies are available for the Charade if you think of Souping up things a bit.

Charade 82 is 1000cc as well not 800cc.

As much as I love a Charade I would say that you go for an FX coz the parts for 82 model are becoming rare so they are expensive. FX parts are easily available and most of them are made locally so they are cheap.

Dear ali, as far as comparasion of suzuki and charade is concerned.... there is no match, even if u buy a 2006 model any suzuki its rubbish as compared with charade our suzuki is a joke with the people and we (pakistani who bye this) are foolish paying a lot having just kachra. Now in your particulat case you should go for FX since the performance and resale of charade is not bettre than FX. but if you go for charade 86 then FX is out. I have bought a charade for 385,000.00 its 89 model and in 100% original condition . Its faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar better than an alto or cultus of Proud Pakistani make in performance, reliability and every thing.

Charade 86 is a superb car if you can somehow raise enough money go for a Charade 86 also known as G11 and try and find a petrol version...avoid a converted diesel one. You can get a good Charade 86 in petrol for about 1.5 lacs.

go for FX, it willnt create an issue if u want to resale, on petrol it will give u abt 14-16km per liter if engine is well tuned

i had FX for 3 years and it dint create any problems, so go for it

charade is good, but as far as resale is concern go for FX

as both are old cars and will require maintenance in any case. so as far as low cost maintenance is concerned go for Fx. if u have no issue regarding finance for maintenance and have no concern for resale than go for charade.
