Optional immobilizer in honda city

can any buddy tell me about immobilizer kept optional in mini-faceflifted 2017 honda city?. . .whats its installation charges? its optional so it mean it can also be fitted in old 2016 city???

Optional means that all new customers will be given an option at the time of booking that whether they want an immobilizer in their Honda City or not.
Honda won't install it in your old city.

is it really optional? On their site it lists the immobilizer in the specs. No mention of how much this would cost (if optional).

Honda city delivered in June 2017 has the Immobiliser as a standard accessory. They are silent about installing it in older cars. The new immobiliser works great because if its not present with the key, the car will not start no matter what you do.

Picture shows a key and the immobiliser. It does not have any buttons. Just keep it with the key because it is a transmitter.
