Please explain more about this. What is the cooling status/temp when it's hibernating? I don't think our weather would allow us to run on hibernating mode. How many amperes does it draw during normal running?

you need to calculate your usage based on the maximum ampere draw by the ac.

i have a dawlance 1 ton inverter. it takes max upto 6 amp draw. when cooling is done it settles to 1-2 amp draw..

80watt is the average power consumed...mostly nonsense. marketing gimmick. and not true

a normal fan can draw upto 100 watt. so 80 watt ac makes no sense.

How's your experience with dawlance so far? As i was thinking of buying dawlance Inverter Ac its been available for 42k for 1Ton and 52500 for 1.5 ton.

in my case,
Last year i installed a new a/c with same problem of extra ordinary lengthy pipe, cooling feels quite low and when complaint after a month for it (also mentioned myself about the length of piping) the pvt company person refiled/complete the gas-pressure. After a year on this season started my a/c and it was just with zero-cooling, so this time instead of that pvt company, i hired a new individual person and first of all he tightens all the joints and then checked the leakage for almost 48-hours with high air pressure to make it sure no leakage this time... then he refills it completely, and this time i got that knowledge of vacuum first and then gas-fill, and believe me... this time really good cooling as compared to last year (till now).

If You Have Longer Lineset....Nitrogen Can Actually Help Testing Leak As Well As Getting ANy Excessive Moisture Out......Vacuum Can't Be Pulled Deep In Longer Line Or Need A Very High CFM Pump.......In Shorter Lineset.....You Can Avoid And Simply Vacuum The System ...However In Order To Properly Check For Vacuum Leak Down Test...You Need Micron Gauge Which Is Costly Piece Of Equipment....
However On Normal Vacuum Test....You Can See If It Holds Vacuum Well....If It Does....You Are Good To Go....!

Nitrogen Shld Be Available At Places Selling Industrial HVAC Refrigerant Gases And Equipment But Its Not So Common Either....! No One Use Vacuum Pump Either....

i purchased panasonic inverter A/c for 115k, 2-seasons back, and its first installation was more then 40k, and 1st gas filling charges within same season was 10k and the previous year's gas filling was almost 5k. (in inverter A/c gas used is R410A and its different from other regular A/c. May be thats why its costly too).

One more thing (just googled as the word Air/Nitrogen/Air/Nitrogen... it was reminding me, some of my school days...) ;

That Moisture And All The Containment/Gases In Air Is What Reacts With Refrigerant Making It Loose Its Full Ability ....

i was mentioned in my previous post that i will not Write on this issue anymore,
but after reading Sir_SER-GTR..
i feel that my emails may be misleading ppl here at some other points.

So, if my posts are misleading to anyone here,
i will request to moderator to plss delete them,
i really wont mind that.

i never talked about only theory here (except the reference i COPY/PASTE here about the AIR-Composition). i told the real life incidence happened to me/Personal Experience, and how it was solved.

if in our local markets where we are not able to find the simple A/c technicians with a vacuum pumps, who may just vacuum our newly fitted a/c pipes first and then open the valve of company filled a/c gas from outer machines, how could one assume that; the same person... so called our technical person... will do checking with a 100% pure nitrogen gas and this and that... (even as i mentioned i hired a cool-company for fitting my inverter-A/c "first time" they just a *****.

Also in my posts i didnt said my A/c man MIXED the Air with any other Gas/Refrigerent during any process of checking, gas was leaked out and he filled the lines with AIR pressure on a really sunny day in Lahore, (everyone knows very well whats a Sunny Day in Lahore... Full Hot & Dry in day time).... And at the time of Filling New Gas, he Vacuumed First and thn Filled ALL-NEW-A/C-GAS.

Just adding one more thing...
First of All,
Plss try to find a Technician with
Vacuum + Nitrogen...
