There are two kind of OTGs.

Note:

I've personally tested them with my Galaxy S2, they work fine.
How ever the place I got them from did mention other devices N8 being one of them, but I do not know 100%
if they will be compatible.

If you don't know what this is: OTG lets you connect hardware to your phone like a USB Flash Drive or Keyboard/Mouse etc...
Note: USB Drives should be FAT32. NTFS would need manual mounting (have not tried that yet personally)

Any phone that supports USB Host Mode can take advantage of this.

Allows you to access a USB Flash Drive in the phone.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2, plug this in, and then the USB and you'll be able to access USB as if it was on PC.
