Other places to buy cars than pakwheels?

I've read on forums that cars are sometimes overpriced on pakwheels, so was wondering where else to also search for cars in ISB/RWP area?

What can we do about that bro? For so long, pakwheels was considered a safe site from these newspaper walay car "businessmen". Then olx came and they shifted over to that. For the last 4-5 years, they have managed to invade even this site which was once a paradise for buying and selling cars in Pakistan. I remember early 2000s models land cruisers here being sold for 30-40 lakhs on this site in 2017. Then these people came in, bought the cars, and 2-3 months later they were again being put up for sale, this time for a minimum price of 60-70 lakhs, some as high as 90lakhs. That's all these people know how to do, and they are the reason used cars in this country are so expensive.

There's some good feedback with Vava cars, why not give them a try?

In 2017, the economy had yet to be affected by inflation, not only the LCs you mentioned were cheap back then but brand new sedans like Grande & Civic were under 25 - 30 lakhs.

This changed when the PTI govt took power and attempted to reimburse the debt taken by Nawaz’s govt.

It’s better to think of things in every possible scenario.

I'm talking about used cars brother. And this all happened while the dollar was maintained at 100. There has always been this band of people(the same people that hoard new car stocks and sell for on money). They bought the cars at 30-40 lakhs when dollar rate was 100, then sold them at 70 lakhs even when the dollar was still at 100. It's the same with other used cars too. For a long time, these people stuck to newspaper ads and olx. You could always find cheap cars on pakwheels as compared to sites like olx. But, it is no more the case, as these people have come over here too.

You're talking about those ‘investors’ that exist in every segment of the Paki auto industry. It was bound to happen at one time or another.

Since cars are perceived as luxury assets and people feel ‘good’ when their cars appreciate in value, so when the dollar does come down, the car prices still rise because it’s a mindset of our people that automakers have understood well.

Yeah, it's a shame but thats just the way it is.
