Our Corolla Got Stolen , But Recovered

We have a Corolla 2.0D (2003) in our house, but it got stolen , when one of our cousins parked it outside a hospital and a short weighted dude came, he opened the lock within 1 minute and in another minute he started the car and fled away (this was seen in CCTV footage), after a pakki FIR, Car was nowhere to be found, but due to a lot of "pohanch" and Danda from Different officials, the car was intercepted at Hub, while it was going from Karachi to Quetta In three days, The vehicle was taken in police custody along with the Thief, And the car was recovered in its original condition in a month or so without anything changed, just a busted silencer pipe,

The moral of this story is, if they could work with some Danda why can't they work without danda, what if an ordinary citizen files a report for his stolen car why can't they work on it, and thank God the car was recovered with all of its accessories intact otherwise, usually they remove the Dashboard Cng kits, Audio system etc. Or people get their car after 8-9 years if they even find their car ever.

So Pak wheelers, please install, kill switch in your cars as we, especially in Karachi as we are on the reham o karam of these Dakuus.

This is the sad reality, be it Karachi or any other city of Pakistan .. stolen cars are seldom found without paying the ransom or danda.

i've seen videos where the thieves can even bypass immobilizers, trackers or kill switches etc and start the car, these gadgets can maximum buy one some more time : /

One of the moral of this story shows the dakkus being on our reham o karam even . You were blessed by god after a short lesson and you got your car by having a proper danda Dhanda is more better term there are examples of such stolen cars even that were recovered but couldn't reach to its owner and got wasted in police stations. If your car had reached its location safe and sound, the biggest danda you could ever bring would still recover it but you would hardly find a person who could drive it uptill your home in Karachi from a tribal area with out settling up the payments that have been initiated in respect with your Corolla.
Bottom line is that everyone gets that certain level of pain which is bearable. When Allah has chosen totall loss then no lock can save it neither all the blame goes on dakus Dhanda has several rules even , every time there are specific makes models and colors which this industry runs on, mostly those cars and versions the local and federal government provides to the employees mostly those cars are most wanted in this dhanda , if you keep your choice different then the probability ratio decreases itself.

Yup , that’s the thing. Maybe it was luck maybe it was danda , our friends car got stolen , same corolla , it was found 3 yrs later , completely stripped , they ended up selling it as scrap.
