After the delivery of car, the first mandatory work to do is to change the tires!!

But the case is Ciaz is different! The car comes equipped with Bridgestone Ecopia 185/65R15 on a steel rim. Yes you read it right STEEL RIM!!!
No alloy rims, no wider tires!!! Why PakSuziki Why??? Ab in se kia gila shikwa karna!!

At first I wasn't in a mood to change the tires because the car is already equipped with good branded tires but for the sake of alloy rims, i have go for wider tires!!

Another reason for changing tires was that there was too much humming road noise, at first i thought it was because of tires but after changing the tires, the noise is still there!! Another DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

So, the very same day after taking the the delivery, took the car to a tire shop and installed alloy rims and replaced its tires with Yokohama Advan dB 195/65/R15.

Sir WHT is not applicable on CBU. You only have to pay 1699/- to Suzuki if you buy manual Ciaz.

Please see the above images from excise website. The advance tax here is called withholding tax which you pay at the time of booking in case of locally manufactured cars. In case of imported cars, this needs to be paid when registering the vehicle as its not charged at the time of import.
