Overhaul or engine replacement

few months back i bought suzuki cultus 2007 vxri. After couple of months its start giving black smoke. Car does not have CNG kit installed and currently meter reading is almost 25000(i think its 2nd cycle). Now almost after every 1000 kms i have to add extra 1 litter mobile oil in the engine. I think its clear indication for engine overhaul.

So i want to ask should i go for engine overhaul or i should replace engine. Its efi 2007

and how much it will cost me what is the best option.

Overhaul the engine. You won't find good quality G10B engine from scrapyard. Besides changing assembly will devalue your car.
