Hahha, hmm I think its other way round, its your kiddy n teddy love for Rolla dat is jumpin rite under the Hood of HONDA Aspire thread By the wat more are u gettin in Altis 1.6 than City is as follows. 1. Traction Control. 2. Driver Air Bag. 3. Sun Roof. 4. Rear Wash Viper. All of above things with a Price tag of 19,16000 not to mention 4-speed manual Transmision, where as a 5-speed Manual/T of Aspir is 16,48000 .... Dats hell of a price diff of 2 Lac , 68 Thousand !!!!! Hhahaha, I can't figure out how Altis becomes bettr than City if not Equivalent. And plz keep this Honda vs Rolla thing out of dis Thread, if u do want it, There is a Thread gor Aspire 1.5 vs 1.6 Rolla, Go there, I mentioned above Facts becuz you asked it I.hope we won't have debate on this topic under this Thread again

I thought all 1.5L Aspire owner's can come under one roof and share their opinions about this car and the unique engine type which has been introduced for the first time in Pakistan in ivtec. This will also provide a good reference point to standard City and Aspire 1.3L owners and help everyone make an informed decision to the age old conflict between Standard City or Aspire when it comes to new purchase.

Areas of Focus:
Engine Performance
Entertainment System
Navigation/GPS Performance
Handling/Braking considering new Aspire is 1.5L

I made a test drive yesterday on a showroom the suspensions are still the same from old city and pathetic they hit every speedbreaker after 3 people sitting.

The engine is still knocking on petrol at climbing north karachi bridge and it is drinking fuel like hell with only 74 km in 1000 rs petrol while meter is showing average of 14 km /l.

Honda people saying to improve the quality of petrol and change petrol pump use 50/50 high octane or STP fuel additive blah blah.

It is a stupid design and these people would have use L12B Vtec engine instead of that big engine in small car.

Honda people are asking 18.2 lac after freight for auto.

for me reborn has always the best car and it still is...
cz when u come to 1.8 engine it has more stability n reliability.. in a budget of 16 or 17 lacs city aspire is the best...
cx a new car is a new car u cnt compare it with a used one...

Booked mine today aspire 1.5 manual via honda defence karachi in white color.

Delivery date is 5th august 2013

still confused because 2 options chor kar aspire select ki hai.
1) unregistered axio 1.5
2) 2006 civic vti oriel

Umeed karta hoo k decision per afsoos nahe hoga aspire anay k baad. Never, kabhi bhi city chalai nahe so no idea of city performance.
My expectation from this aspire is like civic in terms of driving pleasure and road grip

salesman told that one of his customer getting 15km/l in city driving (manual) with ac on.

From the City drive to the Motorway its a great drivers car, the power is immediate, the mileage is reasonable (14km/l within City with light foot), the grip is much better than my Corolla, the navigation actually works, the sound system is good enough and its basically needs no mods or upgrades.

I really fail to understand the knocking part because I personally have never experienced it maybe because I have a manual, not a big fan of PT. If some one wants PT I would suggest CVT.

Sir Islamabad ki roads par kyun problem aaye gi they are new and like highway I bet even the petrol quality would be much better there or else the politicians would have sued the OMCs.

City beats reborn 2010...
as I did it on motorway..
I had taken it upto 200km/h and it was still going up...
if any doubt I can give anyone a ride of my aspire 1.5...

city 1.5 1155kg

officially written on the brochures given by honda atlas

lolz and stability and brakes of city are trash compared to civic yes thats true.At 200 in City you will be flying where as a civic will still be under more control than a city .I have driven all three of them corolla city civic at high speeds and civic's performance brakes and stability was best.Civic manual even has more kick than a lighter low quality city at high speeds.In Manual civic you can feel power delivery getting to the accelerator

City 1.5 is a fast car. Can beat any civic in quartermile. But people here claiming to beat Civic 1.8 on motorway is simply baseless. @mubeenshahid Agreed. City is stable only till 180. uss se uuper urna shuru hojati hay.

Lets establish a general fact here that no ones taking the Aspire beyond 180km/h everyday, that's Civic territory, but the Aspire owns the 140km/h ~ 160km/h mark, it is as solid as any Civic out there and gets there as quickly as any Civic to those speeds and that's good enough for a car that 7 ~ 10 lac cheaper than a new Civic.

I bet there is anyone who ever crosses 180kph except for once or twice in a Civic. They aren't Formula cars anyway.

The point here is that civic is a different league obviously, 160kph+ and it will rule the fast lane, but as far as initial acceleration is concerned, we're talking a full 2 car gap at the minimum.

I got my City Aspire Prosmatec for 18.2 lac another 35 K for registration and 74K for insurance and tracker.

Bought 9th gen Civic Prosmatec in October 2012 for exactly 20 lacs 50 thousand and at that time old shape prosmatec was available for 18.5 lacs new from dealership.

Now I am regretting to let go the old shape civic.

I do not know about the 140-160 KM/hr cruising but all I know is that I have not get rid of the knocking at speed below 40km/hr with AC unless is shift it from "D" to "2" and Honda 3S people are saying that it will be alright after 10K KM.

Boss talk about prices at the arrival of the 1.5 Aspire, its a completely different scenario. but then again 1.5 Prosmatec isn't great value for money in my opinion, always a fan of manuals, and when I got mine for 1.625, no Civic was available under 2 Mill. and the fully loaded manual Civic was 2.1+ Mill add registration and insurance you get a 6 lac game don't we ?

Within our extended family we've got 3 Oriel Prosmatecs within the last few months and all cost 2.6 Mill+ (all costs included) so if you got a 1.5 Aspire Prosmatec 1.8 Mill + you do the math!
