i have a 2012 city 1.3MT base version
done 12000km.. still stock tyres
did engine oil change (synthetic) from honda point and took it to phase 7 or 8 road .. it maxed 160 and DAMN the acceloration .. seemed like the speed dail was just eating up the letters
50(2nd G)-90(3rd G)-130(4th G)-140-150-160
at 160 i felt tyres starting to wobble so stopped.. however , i have touched 165 before
1500cc would be a beast, specially with different gear ratios
... so what tyres should i get? 185/65 or 185/60 ?? i got yoko A drive in civic , and they're pretty good

Booked mine today aspire 1.5 manual via honda defence karachi in white color.

Delivery date is 5th august 2013

still confused because 2 options chor kar aspire select ki hai.
1) unregistered axio 1.5
2) 2006 civic vti oriel

Umeed karta hoo k decision per afsoos nahe hoga aspire anay k baad. Never, kabhi bhi city chalai nahe so no idea of city performance.
My expectation from this aspire is like civic in terms of driving pleasure and road grip

salesman told that one of his customer getting 15km/l in city driving (manual) with ac on.

Now honda says the delivery date of my car has changed from 5th to 26th august 2013.

Boss talk about prices at the arrival of the 1.5 Aspire, its a completely different scenario. but then again 1.5 Prosmatec isn't great value for money in my opinion, always a fan of manuals, and when I got mine for 1.625, no Civic was available under 2 Mill. and the fully loaded manual Civic was 2.1+ Mill add registration and insurance you get a 6 lac game don't we ?

Aspire does not have S/R, Airbags, Cruise Control etc.

1.5 Auto was 1820,000 which is now reduced to 1790,000.

Control price of Civic Prosmatec is 2,107,000 for which it is available in Karachi in white color delivery within 15 days time. That is a difference of 317,000/-

2012 Reborn shape Prosmatec with less than 10,000 KM are easily available here for 1.8M.

City is already bad value and I am glad to sell it at break even.

Now I will buy Gli Auto for 1769,000 or either 2011 JDM Swift for 1.2M which are much better cars.

Aspire does not have S/R, Airbags, Cruise Control etc.

I've been thinking of getting a Aspire 1.5 Automatic for a while and trying to figure out how much money I'd have to shell out. So, how much money should I expect to pay over the base cost of ~1.8Mil? For registration and insurance?

Secondly, are the stock tires okay, if it after markets are preferable than how much more should I keep in mind for that?

Lastly, Is there something wrong with the city automatic? I have a manual car right now, and it's a pain driving in Lahore's traffic, hence I wanted to get a auto..

ATTENTION ALL ASPIRE OWNER's: There are two important parts missing in the car which need to be added when you get your, its an added Rs. 2000/- but necessary,

1) Add Under guard/cover panel for the engine to save it from water destroying your engine, this cover comes installed in PT but not in manual.

2) The A/C Air/Cabin Filter is not present in Aspire, you have to buy it separately and these idiots don't even tell you when you get your car.

3) When I got my car it's alignment was out and all wheels needed balancing so get that done ASAP.

HONDA NEEDS TO GET-UP FROM THEIR LOUSY ***!!

That Civic doesn't have CRUISE CONTROL nor factory SAT/NAV nor Leather Seats which are for added 116,000/-, Aspire has these standard, Civic has more registration cost and more Insurance cost so in the end its a 5 Lac cost difference easy, and for any self-made guy finding that extra 5-Lac is not easy!

So stop adding BS features to Civic and reducing reborn-Civic prices how you feel like just to prove your point!! Now go buy your Rolla ......

It is 90k approx for registration.

Stock tyres are oky but not good

There is absolutely nothing wrong with City automatic but in that price range, people mostly prefer 1.6 Gli auto !

It is my personal opinion also. City Aspire PT price crosses 1.9 million which is just too much for a 'City' badge ! If you have that much money with you, go for Gli automatic special edition !

( Toyota has recently reduced the price of 1.6 Gli auto as well )

Sarasar bakwaas karaty hain I saw with my own eyes several times loads of new city Aspire stock parked outside Honda showroom almost daily so how can they say k its a tech fault with production. As I see it they have surplus stock of Aspires only they try to make ppl ullu.

@kilo 19, Thanks for starting this thread for owners and prospective buyers of City Aspire.
I booked mine today and according to dealer will hopefully be delivered within days.

Want to ask 2 things here.
The issues that you raised in this post specially the Under Guard / Cover Panel and the AC Filter were they picked up by the Honda Guys, and were they fixed for 2 thousand rupees at honda dealership.

Second, I presume the Eurostar tyres would need to be changed upon delivery.
What are the reccomendations for that.

well kept steermatics even sell for more than 10lacks.. though not a fan of steermatic ... but city aspire 1.5 manual = <3

i personally think manuals are better than auto , owning both , city'09 AT and city'12 MT.. AT of city is rubbish.. doesnot give that instant jerk of acceleration and also consumes more fuel .. gear shift is also not that smooth..

tyres are just fine if u drive inside the city and yr max speed is not more than 90 or 100.. if u go on highways or are a speed freak, better replace them .. i would recommend NITTO 185/65R15 .. however if u really wanna spend on new tyres , go for it.. the existing tyres can also be traded in for Rs2500-3000 each
