I got my Aspire (PT) booked from H classic on 21st May.. and they haven't delivered it yet.. Today, they called and informed about GST increase and the further amount to be payed..

Hi Brothers, I need some advice from all of u guys, I am to place order; Honda aspire 1.5, budget is not an bg issue, I just wana know should I buy M/T or P/T one??!! I really can't decied this, and also I wana know which is better in fuel economy; aspire 1.5 M/T or 1.5 P/T

If budget is not an issue than why r u worried abput fuel economy. MT is not fuel efficient than PT but difference is not more than 1-1.5kpl in both .... PT is my choice ... saves one self from lot of fatigue

Bro, i learned from multiple sources that honda is taking more time in delivering PT, around 3 months in some cases. I booked MT on 28th and it was ready to be delivered on 15th June.

BTW, registration costs are also increasing.

Bro, go for MT. Reason is very simple, just the difference is in transmission. Everything else is same, both are fully loaded. If you used to drive MT already then why to go for PT and pay them extra money. Difference is around 150K.

Yar actually i used to drive manual, but this time, i thought to chk out P/T , and in addition my Dad wants to have a relaxed driving in city, this is the reason we arer thinking to go for P/T one

Yeah its the GST which has messed everything up.. If you have seen the news lately, SC has ordered to return all the additional GST taken by the Govt.. Yesterday, I went to Honda classic and paid the extra GST.. They informed me that my car was at 1 priority and it will be here anytime before 30th June ..

Yes, they will.. This is the problem na.. They were to be imposed on 1st July, i.e. New Financial Year onwards... But the Govt without an approval from the Parliament imposed it..

hmmm, but question is why honda asked for extra money if new taxes are not in place yet? they should ask for money if there are differences at the time of delivery. :S

The Govt ordered FBR to write a letter to all concerned about the increase in GST. Honda Atlas then further wrote to all its branches to get the increased GST from customers. I saw these letters myself at H classic.. Now, SC interferes and orders to take it back as its not approved by the parliament.. Now, it goes reverse.. FBR would now write to all concerned to return all additional GSTs
