IMPORTANT

Make sure when you guys take your cars for oil change only get 2.6L in the engine check the dipstick it will not ask for more engine oil. Pak suzuki has jahil people employed they will push you to pour in 3L which is WRONG. This cars engine oil capacity with oil filter replacement is 2.6L. And engine grade should either b 0w20 or 5w30 only.

I test drove the Alto today. Booked it last week before price increase.

Whats your take on the engine noise. I felt it to be too loud. FYI I will be coming from a Swift 2011 Manual.

Secondly, being a Karachite I was super impressed with the suspension although the gear shift jerks were way too significant and pronounced. Have they gotten better with time?

Lastly, this question isnt directly to you but the salesman in Karachi told me that he is getting a feedback from people that its giving them 12-13kmpl in Karachi. Which is OBVIOUSLY a deal breaker. Could an owner of PKDM ALTO VXL AGS confim this for me.

yes engine noise is horrible and its same loud from day one and on top of that gear shift jerk are very obvious and irritating but there is significant decrease in them after some kilometers and as its running more it is decreasing while mileage it give in isl/rwp is around 19kml.

I am using wagonR 2013 which have same engine as of alto. It takes around 2.8L with filter change so are you sure alto takes 2.6L with filter?

well mate either way it wont take 3L also i did mention pour in 2.6L check the dipstick and then proceed with caution. Cheers

need suggestions regarding tyre for alto.. i went faisal town market yesterday and didnt find tyre with size 155-80-r13.... so what about u guys did u change the tyres or using the tyre came with car..if u change ..which size u get ?

Using stock tyres. Size aint available in any other brand.

Never used hi octane ever in any of my cars. Simple ron fuel from attock pump f11.
