P1602 and P0403

Battery warning light is on (even though the headlights and other electrical things are working).

Please advise what to do. How to go about solving these issues?

The battery warning light may be due to a faulty alternator or wiring.

P0403 is the for EGR sensor, if you read online it will say either it is choked or the EGR solenoid has gone bad P1602 is irregularities in the ECU sensing the electric current from the battery: Check this article for more info:

Cat con is broken for last one year so perhaps it's not choked because there's no hurdles for emissions to pass and can't get choked.
