My Vitz 2006 1KR-FE is showing "P67-Z" on the dashboard. Can anyone tell what does this mean? A snapshot is attached
this is a common first sign of your anti lock brake computer failing. You will most likely never feel a difference in your car but there is a slight chance that the abs will not operate properly in a collision or it can be a faulty sensor .
go to toyota delearship..get it chk from there...your rear ABS sensors might have stopped working...
My car is having a svere gear slippage problem. When I try to drive it in "D gear". The car does not run at all. Does this have any relation with this?
first check all the transmission sensors if they all are good then it means that your transmission has some problems or else your cars tranny has completed its age
@mustafazeem : bhai pm @xulfiqar he will help you.
Thanks
How do I check transmission sensors????
@mustafazeem when did you changed the Transmission CVT fluid and filter of your car ? if it is not done since purchase time is ripe for this act. Toyota P67-Z is code related to drive train (transmission & axles) not ABS - there is ABS warning light on cluster when ABS error takes place.
As you said the transmission was flushed, best check the fluid level again. If you are getting severe slip, you have a bigger problem.
Guru I fail to read about transmission fluid flush ?? or is it invisible to me ?? what if it is wrong type of fluid ? instead of CVT fluid?
bump.. @xulfiqar bhai please advise, as i also have the same issue in Vitz 2007, mentioned below:
