I knew you would appreciate it. Sir ADCOM is still alive and kicking, they just pulled out of car audio long ago. Compared to other amps sir, these amps, especially the 4 series, have the magic touch of Nelson Pass, I mean, how many amps have you seen that go to the lengths to put the whole power supply off the amplification board? none sir none...in addition they use high grade components in its construction and its build and size are a testimony to that. After listening to the McIntosh, they are pretty same tonally more or less but the amount of detail and 3 dimensionality is mind blowing on this one, never the driver seems to lose its control no matter how much output you take from it thanks to its high damping factor. The whole music has a certain "presence" and "Body" to it. and due to high channel separation, the stereophonic imaging is a killer... Left is left, right is right and center is center now, distinct and distinguishable! And another thing i love is zero noise floor about these amps! Best of both worlds, power and clarity, hand in hand
