Assuming all that, do you know what happens to a person when he DISOBEYS Pak army? do you remember 1999? Do you remember Nawaz Sharif being throw away because he wanted to change Musharraf as the army leader????

Is pak army failing to stop US drone attacks on pakistan soil? and the answer is YES. Infact as a thank you they allow US to have bases in our own country (like shamshi air base).

Aero. Who finished all corruption cases of the current SUPREME COMMANDER? Army of civilians? Zardari and his wife were history after Swiss court convicted them of corruption and handed down six-month suspended term. The couple went into appeal, but Musharraf's greed knew no bounds and as the army generals throughout their more than 30 years or rule have used the country for furthering their personal agendas. Just to get his behind in the seat for another term, Gen Musharraf sold out the interest of Pakistan once again. The army has been biggest promoter and still is of "corrupt politicians". Do you forget how ISI has been deciding who comes to parliament who does not. The real power still lies with the army and they have actually nurtured corruption in the society.

You need to study about Kargil before talking about 1999. Nawaz shareef was too much impressed with Clinton's lollypop and left Pakistan Army without supplies in Kargil and so on.

the fact is that a part of the country was seperated. The east was not given equal rights by the previous military rule of ayub khan and the bengalis rebelled against that....

Army is in control of the country. When something goes wrong, they just put a civilian government in place and wait for things to settle down. They dont, martial law again....repeat process. That has been happening since independence. They dont let democratic government run and they dont make a proper military rule like cuba either. They are cowards. They dont have true leadership skills.
Even zardari has more balls. Entire country hates him, everyone knows he's corrupt, but he's sitting in the president house, like a boss.

Try reading some books available in market on Kargil specially exposing Nawaz Sharif. Once you know the love affair of tahira syed and nawaz sharif and the further extension of this love story towards india, you will know how pak army suffered to many causalities.

For everyone else speaking against army, go & visit india, visit where & how muslims are living. get a feel of your neigbour, read their papers & roam around, Once back home you will be thankful to Allah for having a separate country and an army protecting for a sick neighor. unfortunately,you do not have the slightest of idea what ISI & army is doing for you. Its because you are brought up by internet & media (playing in the hands of your enemies).

Kargil was the result of Musharraf's imcompetence. The government was kept out of the loop until things went out of hand and Musharraf had to beg Nawaz to make things right.

This is a FACT, but hey, it is quite difficult to accept the bitter truth with heavy gauge patriotic blinders on. (H)

They can shoot down drones but can't detect foreign chinooks and black hawks as they pass the border. NICE!!!!

@Vazim. Books!!! can you refer any particular title. I am too selective when it comes to reading books. There could be view points in the books on particular issues and it is not something written on the stone.

FYI, I have visited India and seen how far ahead they have gone from us. Also I studied international relations at Quaid-i-Azam University and have been following the historical developments and current affairs all my life and still learning and researching. I have written a book myself but on a different topic, but the work I do is quoted as a reference in so many books and research publications.

Seeing the reality and trying to make things better is not playing in the hands of your enemy, it is the reverse case.
