Do you honestly believe that so many countries would dole out hundreds of billions of dollars for over-priced military equipment if there was even the most remote possibility of something like this happening?

What our defense equipment supplier(s) (US in this case) can do, however, is to cut off supplies of updated/less buggy/more advanced software for the on-board computer systems, refuse sale of spare parts, refuse complex repairs, among other things. But the notion of having a grandiose plan to disable fighter jets just with a flick of a switch is nothing more than a conspiracy theory.

There is no conspiracy in what I describe, merely facts. Hundreds of billions of dollars of hardware, and Israeli planes flew through Saudi Arabia to destroy Osiraq without being detected is not a conspiracy theory, my dear Sir.

It is not just warplanes either. All new military hardware has software locked up tighter than a vault that the end user has no idea of any of the several backdoors and limitations built into it.

Short answer: yes. Details are mission specific, but the effect is quite small at subsonic speeds and much greater at supersonic speeds.

I never knew PAF pilots would give out critical information regarding jets on public social networks. There's always a first.

There is nothing crictical in it. Its a geniune fact that there is no such thing like "codes" in F-16s operational mechanism.

There are no "Kill Switches" on the F-16s. That story about debris showing a kill switch is BS.

However, none of them can fly a combat mission unless programmed with codes, rendering them subject to "approved" usage only, with software, which cannot be detected by any tools or expertise found in Pakistan.

Even the image posted by airomerix above is correct: "So far we are NOT AWARE...." Of course! They don't have the expertise to be aware!

If anyone doubts them, please seek answers about detailed pre-sortie preps on the F-16s.

I beg your pardon, but what are you trying to say has NOTHING to do with reality.

There are NO CODES or passwords or programming which a pilot or any engineer has to do. The software of Vipers are already made and Pakistan has NO PART in it and those softwares once provided cannot be overwritten or modified.

For example, PAF could easily acquire AIM-7 Sparrow Missile from black market back in the 90s. But we never had the "software" of Sparrow missile inspite having the hardware to support it.
Similarly today we have the software to support AIM-120 AMRAAM.

CODES have nothing to do with F-16s mission profile. Iam again attaching a screen shot. For clarification and "sorce" I again asked Air Commodore Kaiser Tufail and his reply was pretty much clear.

As said by cardinal, yes it is a conspiracy theory which originated from people who obviously used to claim that "our F-16s" cannot carry nukes. But in reality our 25 year old Block 15s can integrate state of the art nuclear weapons made at Air Weapons Complex, Wah Cantt and POF.

In a nutshell, iam not forcing anyone to believe me, but one should think being "realistic" and practical while discussing such issues.

So you mean to boot up a fighter you need "codes/passwords" which US changes EVERYDAY while sitting thousands of miles away?

Israeli planes flew over Saudi Arabia NOT because they were NOT DETECTED due to banned codes etc. It was due to extreme low flying and hi-tech EW suite on Israeli F-16s and F-15s which Saudi jets and radar couldn't resist and hence were jammed. Further more, half of the analyst's speculate that Saudi Arabia itself "ALLOWED" Israel to carry out the strike which was in favor of whole NATO etc due to geo-political situation but that is another debate.

As i said before, limitations "may" be there but US has "NO" control over our F-16s. If we want then we can even bang our F-16s over statue of liberty in an suicide attempt

Currently our F-16s and Mirage (ROSE versions) are capable for carrying out nuclear strike.

Here is a pic of Mirage capable of such missions. No.27 Squdron (Zarrars) is a dedicated strike squadron based at PAF base Rafiqui
