Clear Crinkling is extremely rare, never seen that happen that generally happens when clear cant adhere to base. The problem with using single shop in Pakistan is that sourcing all materials of a single shop is difficult, as an example Alps is a decent brand for paints in Pakistan. I am able to source the clear, the base, the thinner but never the primer. Hence why I mix and match, but generally try to get same base and clear and 2k thinner for the clear. The Primer I generally source DANYCOAT or TuffKote by IsmailSons etc.
Modern Factory Paint Jobs in Pakistan are absolutely dog shit, you should check some of the cars coming off the production lines from Suzuki such as the Alto. The amount of orange peel on the cars, specifcally the boots is unbelievable. In addition to that, the clear coats they use are despicably soft and such thin layers you cant even begin to fix the orange peel. And the orange peel I am referring to isnt run of the mill orange peel, it is so bad I have had friends ask me if their cars were repainted at some local shops pre delivery because there is zero clarity.
