Bumpers of my XE are originals. with lots of scratches and stuff.
i got them painted few years back from my painter matt black. but now again scratches and rubs are making them look really ugly.
i drove to the nearest painter who gave me a estimate of 5000 rupees for 2 bumpers and 2 days (few hours each day)
so much money and time on stock black bumpers was insane so i thought why not try something myself and save a buck or two
i drove to the hardware store. got p400 sanding paper. 2 cans of Matt black spray paint.
dipped the sandpaper in water and scrubbed the bumper scratch areas smoothly and thoroughly
over the years the alloy rims got weird stains specially around the nut/bolt areas. scrubbed them thoroughly with sand paper to
after using news paper to cover the lights/indicators no paint areas with masking tape. i sprayed 2 layers of the matt black paint on the bumpers. here are the results.
