Brother a 2005 Dewan Import ranges from 31 to 36 lakhs depending upon the mileage, condition and year it was registered in.
A couple of years ago these were selling around 28 to 30 lakhs, but that has changed now with the current economic scenario.
I myself bought a 3.2 2002 for 19.50 lakhs three years ago but sold it after it developed engine problems.
The Dewan import Pajeros are 2.8 with the 4M40 engine and were all 2005 models, but were sold by them from 2005 to 2008 some some cars were sold brand new only 3 to four years ago. They came in three variants Pajero GLS Auto Limited Appearance Package, Pajero GLS Auto and Pajero GLS Manual.
The 3.2 Variants available here are mostly Shoguns or the domestic Japanese models. These cars have the 4M41 DiD engine.
Prices for the 3.2 DiD engine ones are relatively less than the Dewan Imports.
Depending on the model prices range from 22 to 28 lakhs for 2000 to 2006 models.
Our diesel suits the 4M40 engine 2.8 better and then the easy availability of spares for them is a big plus point.
Any ways Pajero is a great car in terms of value for money . It has more options and is more comfortable than a similar model Prado, which would obviously cost at least 10 to 12 lakhs more.
