would you guys recomend this car to be run in city on cng? talking about auto, have heard turbo version gives problems? what about spares? lot of people telling me not to go for it, i am in sales and marketing so i need to do lot of outdoor visits so i want a car which can be reliable as well as doesn't ruins my suit during traveling from point A to point B ...

A: well terios and alto gona suit u regarding ur last query bucz mini is 3 adult seats due to back seat less leg space ... but dnt have much knowledge how they works on cng n all ... i heard frm a mechanic that mostly terios engines gets replaced with toyota duet 1000cc engine .... i heard that not sure : )

It cost me a total of 45000 ruppees. I paid 4 thousand to the mechanic as labour charges, 8000 for the 1100cc transmission and whole gear set. 32000 for the 1100cc engine.

Anything else ud like to ask?

Well lets see bro. I changed the engine, plz be advised kaay yeh engine mounting to mounting fit hai isliay if any mechanic tells u otherwise tou slap his face and tell him not to do it!!, changed the timing belt, changed the ac ka compressor. Had the whole transmission changed. Uskay baad i had to get the exhaust piping changed coz 660cc wala exhaust has 2 holes and the 1100cc wala needs 3 holes for the exhaust warna dholki phat jati hai. I didnt believe it untill it happened :o. So i got a new dholki in. Uskay baad aglay hissay ka kaam karwaya. Chitmtay ka aur busch ka. Then i had the cooling unit taken out and serviced by the ac wala. Uskay baad i had to go to the 15 ka daftar and have the engine cleared from them kaay yeh engine genuine sale hua hai aur chori ka nahi hai. :S 3 saal saay gaari ka koi kaam nahi karwaya hua thaa. I must admit buhut dheet gaari hai jo itni neglect kaay bawajood bhee chalti rahi.

btw agr sub kharcha add kiya jaye tou its 60,000. Abhi im in the process of getting the new engine number added to the registration booklet by the Excise and Taxation Office. Uska bhee 5000 ka kharcha hai. Next i have to go and get the new token from the GPO.

front n rear ?
Is ur mini now doing 140 ??
I have attached the pic in which i have made a red circle there is a sensor placed at the place u have also replaced that or not ?

Nopes bro havent had the differentials changed. Ive taken the car upto 130 and i havent pushed it further as yet. Im not much of a speed freak but id like to able to go 120km/h on the motorway

ahan .. its not abt speed freak the reason i asked ya is mini is short shift and junior is long shift and its necessary to change the differential to get the proper gear ratio of 1100cc engine ......

Ali bhai i did get the whole transmission changed on it, i took out the old one and put in a new one coz i knew kaay 1100cc ka transmission has bigger gharari. Pick up has definately improved. However do tell me what gear ratio do u get on ur mini?

Yes it was manual before but the gears in the older transmission were smaller than the ones required for the new engine. Hence i had to change the transmission too. Im still in the process of uploading pics. Check back later and ull see the new transmission before installation.

ok cool cuz mine is auto and sum1 tol me i can put my original box wit it however the prob is junior comes in manual only (i think) so not sure abt ecu should i keep it stock or change it 1100cc mt one.

Dude it comes with an auto transmission too. This engine was originally fixed wid an automatic transmission and then i had to modify it to run on a manual transmission. So not to worry. U can find almost everything in the right shops.
