hello brothers,
just joined the forum. I'have been driving my mini for the past two years. Its an awesome ride believe me, its an all terrain vehicle. My ride was actually 1995, turbo, 660cc, manual. I drove this car for 120,000 kms within these two years but recently, its timing belt broke and as usual the valves were bent.
So instead of overhauling the same engine I decided to change it bcuz its turbo wasnt functioning, its rings were at the end and its throttle wasnt also working perfectly. The gear also had some issues. So I changed the engine to the 1100cc jr one along with the rear differential and the gearbox.
Now the jeep is literally flying :D. In 4th gear it easily touches 100kmph at 4500rpm. But there are still some issues and I want experts to advise please.
1) the speedometer is not working properly and there is almost a difference of 20kmph eg if im going at 100 it shows 80kmph.
2) the rpm is not stable, it fluctuates in smaller gears and when I turn on the AC instead of going up the rpm falls down.
3) there is a sound coming from the rear side, which goes like zzznnnnnn, i think its the differetial what do u guys say.
4) the engine is heating up to almost half within 15 minutes of driving but it does not go above that.
5) the car is vibrating below 1000rpm, its the foundation i guess.
also i need to know if anyone can arrange the front differential for me bcuz i need my ride to be 4x4. Another thing I need is the 1100cc engine's original air filter pipe.
