did you scan for codes ? maybe the new crank sensor is also bad, as its a kabli part, have you checked that when it stalls do you have spark at the spark plugs, check if the ignition coils, sparkplugs and battery is good and you are using the correct type of spark plugs for this car.

1147, 1045 --- FOR long distance travelling
845 , 946 for intercity travelling....
I am sharing it on basis of my experience but do keep it in mind tht my ride is automatic (OD gear) . With manual gear the scenario is vise versa....

@kamran.awan whats model is your ride? and what did the mechanic do to get it to 8km/L? Also, if your SUV is the first generation and automatic then im afraid you havent got much chances of increasing the fuel average due to high gear ratio as first generation pajero mini has 3 speed forward. I also own a 20 valve auto pajero mini skipper edition in sky blue (which is extremely rare in Pakistan) it goes upto 9km/l max.

Hi guys
Have a mini pajero 1997 turbo auto..good condition..recently downward (3...2...1) gear shift problem..probably because of TP or booster sensor setting...
Suggest a good mechanic in karachi..
Also planning to convert to manual from auto..is it better to go change from 660 to 1100 ? And what is the estimated cost ? Also a good mechanic for conversion?

you must replace your auto gear, and a good mechanic is on jamshed road total wali gali me ustad ishaq .Or better to change 1100cc engin with gear .

Hi,

Can anyone tell me the expected price of Pajero Junior (1100cc) 1996-1998 model which has a condition like this one as shown below?? I am planing to buy one in such condition but people are asking for something like 550k to 660k... Not sure if this is the market price of this model in a very good condition.

People are asking right. Infact, you won't find any junior for less than 550k let alone the condition that is in. If the rides' in mint condition like the one in the photos my best guess is around 700ishk. There are very few owners who take good care of minis and juniors so a ride in perfect condition would sell for a premium.

Its on IJP road Rawalpindi. I would recommend you to take your vehicle there if possible as he has a workshop too so let him install it so that he can be held responsible. He is maintaining my mini pajero since few years now and I am satisfied.
