Can anyone tell me from where i can get the following parts for Pajero mini 1995(Its very urgent):

1- Front Grill Mitsubishi logo
2- Dashboard opener Button
3- Bonnet Opener button

My City: Lahore

Please also suggest any mechanic and electrician which can do all the things regarding pajero mini

Any suggestions and recommendation will be highly Appreciated.

I have recently got a problem with my Mini Pajero, Converted 1100cc. When i start the engine clicking noise comes from engine or i don't know from where, like a hard ball bouncing on a table. when i press clutch clicking noise goes away and come again on clutch depressed. Alos the noise in louder on idle less then 1000rpm, above the rpm its gone quite low. also the self is stucking while starting the engine.

i am worried about it please help. i am not driving the mini from 2 days.

check Engin and gear box foundation may be that is the fault .

Hello,

I recently bought a Pajero Mini 1995 model, 660cc Turbo, manual transmission. Everything is stock, engine and transmission.

So far I have been driving it without any issues, just changed engine oil. It's giving me average of about 7.5km/litre on patrol, with mix AC use during my drive in city.

I went to Ishaq mechanic referred in previous posts. He told me this is okay average with AC and in summer average of most cars is low. It should give me 12-13km/litre without AC.

So, my question is, do you guys also get similar patrol average with same AC use?

I've yet to do full tank and then note from start, for now I've calculated average by getting refuled 14 litres and 31 litres (multiple refules).

Mine is same with auto transmission. and giving me 10km/ltr with AC. from where you refill your tank? I mean which petrol station ?

@alimahr thanks for your reply. For now I'm gonna get few things fixed, like it's gear box is dropping oil 1-2 drops overnight. One of its headlight is not original, and maybe get new spark plugs which might help with its fuel consumption.

@umairse70, I mostly get refuel from patrol pump beside Al-Mustafa Trust Hospital on University Road, near Bait-ul-Mukarram Masjid. I've yet to find another good station which have good reputation, on university road, or shahrah-e-faisal, around nursery stop.

I have another question. I want to wash engine of Pajero Mini 1995 I recently bought, the previous owner didn't maintained it well. The engine is pretty dusty especially the area where gearbox and engine are coupled and I think the distributor above it too.

I got the car serviced as soon as I got hold of it, but the service station didn't put any jet water on engine, just a little bit on the grill and radiator area. He told me these cars have too many sensors, so they avoid putting water on engine so there's no issue when starting after service.

What I'm planning to do is, get engine sprayed on with Kerosine oil, leave it for 10 mins, then wash again with Kerosine oil, or maybe jet water. Do you think it's a good idea?

Of course I've read the advice to not put water on hot engine, let it cool down for about 30 mins before doing something like that. So I'll be careful about it for sure.

Yeah never ever wash it with water. Go for oil wash and you will be good. I do the same

You can clean your car's engine at home too without using any sort of oil or fuel
Just get a bottle of astonish engine degreaser (rs 200) and use your normal garden hose
Just cover up any open wiring,relays,alternator throttle body with plastic shopping bags

@fahad.ayub, where I can get this astonish engine degreaser? I checked at auto parts shops close to my area, and no one seems to know even what engine degreaser is. I checked online about this product, and saw it pretty easy to use at home.

I might have to to all the way to plaza to find one I think. Or recommend any shop in gulshan area if anyone else knows one, who have good brand engine degreaser.
