@RKR
Haha.....no it's not true!!! Yes the collection did cross dozen and a half mark but has been recently curtailed to around 10(a few are in the pipeline and hopefully should swell again). And yes, you are a bit late looking for a decent 3 dr as I did part with 6 of mine( Mk 1s and 2s). Speaking of its capabilities, go for the 2.8 3dr.....it's a tidy package with enough grunt to take you over all the hills you are likely to throw at it and simultaneously would decently cruise along the motorway( auto tranny @2800 revs....120 kms @3000 revs....130 kms). A member of ORAD is probably selling his 2.8 3dr....check him up at 0300 8483390 Akhtar Baig!!!
@Dawar
The gasoline versions are a treat to own and to be frank are the real pajeros.....if you can find a V6( 3.0,3.5, 3.8) and drive one you probably would understand what I've been trying to say all along...although it'll be only fair to warn you that the fun begins beyond the 3.5 motor. The catch ofcourse being the parts as for gasoline you are likely to find none....but Dubai isn't that far off and you'll find 'em in abundance there!
@Saaduk
Yes unfortunately, Pajero was on top in Pakistan once it was being marketed by WORLD WIDE MOTORS.....followed by a big void and everything including sales slumped( this was exploited by toyota in mid '90s by the launch of the 1 KZ PRADO/SURF)....another nail in the coffin came from the DEWANs as they introduced the old 4M40(2.8) instead of the mighty 4M41( 3.2 DI-D)!!! Amigo, I've already said in my earlier mails its a matter of personal preference entirely!!!
