Mixed reviews, when it works, nothing like it. When it doesn't, its a headache. Took me quite a while to fix it up(it was an abused vehicle), now I enjoy the on road performance. It's a bit too low for proper off roading

I Did take it out of its comfort zone over the weekend. Went to a mountain top in swat, mud rocks for about 15 mins. It didn't disappoint

Well I haven't required any yet, filters and all are easily available. Pump is the biggest failure point on these engines, those are available in scrap yards here, and new in Japan. The only thing I did replace was the generator, was easily found.

Let me quote and example of Liana. Everyone advises to stay away because of millions of problems. I owned an Eminent from 2010 till 2014. One of the most joyful cars I ever owned. Never broke down what so ever. Same car now owned by a friend. Still the same.

Hahaha I my self an x Liana owner lovely car it was and I know ppl talk bs about it
About GDI its good pull like supercharged engine good economy but require decoking every 50k that too if you use there special rated oil which produce less soot if normal oil is used the decoking interval is 20k the decoking facility is not in pak anywhere

The most horrible thing about GDI was GDI galants ppl galamts were scrap at 30k km while they were paying heavy installment to banks (GDI galant came in some bank installment scheme)

GDI is one of the best ever to drive, as long as they are working. Nothing comes close to it, driven the io with a 1.8gdi and gen2 5 door with a 3.5, mind blowingly fast. Loved every bit of it but the thing is that one can't maintain them here, no one knows how to fix them, once a fault occurs, everyone suggests a swap. So for a one night stand, nothing like it, but for a steady relation, she be a gold digger
