السّلام علیکم. Im planing to buy pajero 2nd gen most probably 2.4 diesel. I want to know what is its reliability means how often i have to visit workshop as the model is 20+years old. And is it good to buy for me as i travel only on long routes from Attock to Lahore Faisalabad Gujranwala Multan Bahawalpur.
What is its fuel average? I want to buy in manual. Whoch mode you prefer to buy?
Please help.

Aoa Everyone,
im new to this club. i bought my first 1995 pajero 5dr v6 3000. i love it. the power the sound and the comfort is the best. the only thing im considering is fuel consumption after seeing ppl mentioning here that their v6 3000 is doing 7 to 7.5km per ltr. while what i have notice is mine is almost doing 4 to 4.5 km max with ac locally.. havn't tried it on motorway yet. can please seniors give me suggestion if their is any prob or this is normal. Also im facing another prob that when i switch the air con on in the parking, the air con doesnt work coz of low rpm. i went to the air con mechanic and he said u need to adjust the rpm with a computer. but i cant find anyone with this model computer. please seniors waiting for ur suggestions. its a v6 3000 gen 2 multi valve 5 dr.. mileage 122677km . i will share the pics as well. thanks

Its NGK one.... bf something.... fuel filter was changed.... how do i clean my injectors??? Like by going to some mechanic or just by buying some liquid and pour it into the gas tank??

Assalamu Alykum! Proud Pajero owner from Karachi! I just wanted to know if anyone of you knows a good mechanic here in Karachi who knows about Pajero 3L V6 Engine Mehtab Mechanic was previously referred but he said he doesn’t work on petrol cars! Also if there’s someone who’s a good electrician as I’ve a few electrical issues as well!

Try Shahid, right in front of Suzuki Margalla Motors on Sir Syed Road off Khalid Bin Waleed Road. This is the same road that connects Khalid Bind Waleed Road to Kashmir Road, if you are coming from Noorani, go straight from 1st traffic signal that is Liberty, then turn left from 2nd traffic signal, and then again turn left in the 1st street. There's an old bungalow at the corner, from which he operates. I got my jeep checked and repaired by him (3.5l V6 GDI Petrol), expensive but good.

AOA Brothers

i drive a pajero today 1995 model, 5 door,, v6 3500
i'm very impressed with it's drive and comfort
i never own a Mitsubishi pajero
just heard that pajero is very bad in maintenance and not as reliable as toyota prado/LC/surf
and it is very bad on gas
previously i own prado 78 series and currently i've toyota surf 1997 petrol 2700cc and i'm happy with it because it never take me to workshops
but after driving pajero i'm thinking to sell toyota surf and buy pajero because of the driving pleasure i never feel in surf
my main concern for pajero is that i heard from some owners that it will take you to workshops on regular basis
please give your kind suggestions
