Another update and hopefully the last for a longer time, provided I don't need to sell the jeep. Actually I've been offered another, better and bigger jeep which is obviously way too expensive so if the guy agrees to sell it in my offered price, I have to depart with my Pajero; But that's just a fly-by option which may not materialize.
So here's the update, remember last time when I went to change the tyres, the rims put me off and I gave them for repainting. So here they are, the rim (6k) and Kumho tyres 265/70/16 (58k)

The only problem with this combination is that the old/broken hubcaps do not go with them, so the search is on.

It doesn't have any seriousness about it, like I said before, deevanay ka khoab samajh lain. It's a Lexus V8 4.7liter 2002 model, 2006 registered. The price is too high for me, so I made an offer on the lower side of the market range for this model, which I'm 90% sure that the owner wouldn't even consider, but just in case he does (who knows) only then I have to sell the Pajero.

Thanks, yeah it runs great. Initially I planned to drive it 2 days a week for my day to day and office work to save on fuel cost, however, it now runs all week. A heads up was given to me earlier about the maintenance of 6G74 (3.5liter), and I'm fueling it with RON97 from Hascol. Only once I fill it up with regular petrol and instantly regretted my decision, lesson learnt and it's Hi Octane again.

i have Pajero 2.8 turbo intercooler 1992 3 door ... want to install new engine 4m40..can i get help with that...how much it gonna cost in rawalpindi islamabad..estimated price...any good mechanic for Pajero...

A good Japanese 4m40 out of a Pajero will run you around 230 without the transmission and about 250 with the gearbox. And installation will be about 10 with you providing all requisite lubricants. Contact Sami Ustad - 03015154963. His workshops are at kacha stop on ijp road. Feel free to give him my reference. Jahanyab Lahore waala. I found a good engine from New Khalid autos behind Kaka khel cng on gt road - 03315524247 (Khalid).

1. Drives like new. Cabin noise has gone down considerably. Much smoother. Consuming less fuel. It depends on whether you get a good engine though - I lucked out but had been searching for months before I found a good one
